ADSL MAX runs over copper wire. The line rate (data transfer speed) will depend on the condition of the copper wire, and on the distance of the end-user from the local exchange.
Broadband Care Packages
With banking taking place over the internet, many applications being run off-site and via the world wide web, and the introduction of HIPs just around the corner, an additional level of support is needed to ensure that if there is ever an issue with your Polaris broadband connection, additional service levels are available to get you back up and running as soon as possible.
Additional cover for you ADSL service. This care level ensures that a fault reported on your connection will be worked on by BT within 4 hours if reported before 4:30pm the same working day. A fix within 24 hours of the fault report is guaranteed. Cost - £12.50 p/m.
